Ingredients

  • Avanti Delights Raw Shrimp – 250g
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Curd (yogurt) – 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 sprig
  • Green chilies – 2 (slit)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 2 to 3 tbsp (for marination consistency)
  • Salt – 1½ tsp
  • Oil – for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

Step 1:
In a bowl, mix prawns with ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, salt, curd, corn flour, rice flour, and 2 to 3 tbsp of water to form a thick coating. Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2:
Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the marinated prawns on medium flame 2–3 minutes until they turn golden and crispy. Remove and keep aside.
Step 3:
In a separate pan, add 1 tbsp oil. Add curry leaves and green chilies, sauté for a few seconds.
Step 4:
Add the fried prawns into the tempering and toss well for 1–2 minutes.
Step 5:
Switch off the flame and sprinkle lemon juice. Mix well.

Serving Suggestion

Serve hot as a crispy starter with onion slices and lemon wedges.
